Welcome to the Purple Lounge. This room of the Lounge is especially devoted to Melt's Mood Music ~ Vol. 3. I plan on adding a few more songs, so do come back. A completely different kind of music awaits you, romantic French music....*sigh*....so "Vive l'amour !"
The files used here are in streaming Real Audio ~ 5.0. If you do not have the plug-in, I suggest you go and get your free demo copy now! It's the only way you will be able to hear the sound on this site.
Unfortunately, many of you will not be able to understand the lyrics to these beautiful songs; lyrics which, in this case, are so vital to the overall effect. You will however, certainly feel the romance and seduction through the music, rhythms, and voice. Perhaps one day, I will translate and include them for you on this page. For now, I have included a translation of the title which may provide some insight to the song. Please understand that this is a literal translation and not necessarily what I would suggest as a song title.
Whether you are In the mood for some slow dancing, or cuddled with the love of your life contemplating the flames flickering in the fireplace, this music cannot but stir you. Feeling romantic...you've come to the right place! Perhaps you just want a change from your usual music?
There are two ways to listen to the music. Select songs at random in an individual manner, or click here "stream list" to scroll automatically through the play list using the page down and page up keys of your keyboard, or simply let the entire list play!

It is to be noted that I own all of the above mentioned CD's and have done my own encoding into the Real Audio format. This page is solely intended for your listening pleasure. You will find that it is impossible to copy these songs. I encourage you to do as I did and buy the CD's. All credit has been given to the artists who sang and wrote these songs as well as to the record companies to whom they are signed. To them I say, thank you...please don't sue me! I'm promoting your music, charging nothing, and not making a red penny on this effort.
Return to Penelope's PassionsMy sincere appreciation goes to the following:
